Congratulations Rev Amos Chewachong on the Birth of Anna-Danielle
Huge congratulations from Fife Presbytery to Amos and Florence and on the birth of Anna-Danielle Fenghefeze Amosons Chewachong.
The baby girl was born on the 26th of January 2022 at 1:40am in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.
Here is a statement from Amos:
"We have named her Anna-Danielle Fenghefeze. The name Anna is from the Hebrew Hannah or Chanah, meaning grace or favor. Danielle is the female form of Daniel which means God is my judge.
My late father was called Daniel and so this is one way of keeping him alive in our hearts and lives. Fenghefeze is a name coined from our mother-tongue, which means the heart of God.
Put together, we would reckon God has been gracious in his judgement towards us and has given us such a beautiful bundle of joy. We pray that this child would be gracious and kind-hearted as almighty God-who 'forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases' (Psalm 103:3).
In my post on Facebook concerning the birth of Anna, I quoted Psalm 16:5-6 to show how much we appreciate what God has done for us: 'the boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken'."
